About Us
We both grew up in New York, met at NYU and became instant friends. After college our
friendship deepened and we fell in love. We’ve been married for 13 years and are just as
happy now as we were on our wedding day. Our wonderful daughter Delaney entered our
lives via open adoption four years ago. We truly believe that she was always meant to be
our child, and cannot imagine life without her.

About Joe
Joe is an attentive, patient, and loving dad. He became a dad at
the same time as his closest, lifelong friends, so it’s been such fun
to watch him grow as a dad with all of Delaney's "uncles". I know
that he will only become more amazing with another child to love.

About Esther Diane
Esther’s smile is infectious and reflects the joyous person
she is. Her bubbly personality, sense of humor, and
compassion bring out the very best in people. Esther has
an angel’s touch with children, making them laugh and
smile from across the room.

Esther is the kind of mom every kid should have. Our home
is a place of encouragement, creativity and exploration.
There is kid art on walls and sweet treats that she and
Delaney make together in the kitchen. Esther was a
regional skating champ, and can’t wait to teach our children
how to ice skate, whether it is for figure skating or hockey!
Our family is her number one job but Esther also works
part-time as a PR Director for small technology companies.

About Delaney
Delaney is a princess in tomboy clothing! She keeps up with the boys, yet loves girly things. Delaney is full of
personality and considers everyone she meets as a new friend. She is playful and loving, and can’t wait to be
a big sister. She’s very excited to help decorate the nursery, and loves to pick out stuffed animals and
sleepers for her little brother or sister when we are out shopping.

Joe is warm-hearted, sensitive, and has a thirst for learning! He is equally delighted to tell a new joke or
teach Delaney how clouds form. He is a kid at heart and sparks Delaney’s imagination. He also loves to read
and is a huge sports fan, especially baseball. He has already taken Delaney to countless games and is
teaching her how to hit a curveball. Joe works close to home as a product manager in a technology
company. His flexible schedule allows for plenty of family time.
